As a guest at Paradise Cottage or Seanook, you share the use of our beach on a sheltered cove with our two other properties. The swimming here is the best on the bay because the water warms as the tide comes in over the sun drenched pebbles. This beach is also a great place to store and launch your kayaks. Kayaks are available with a signed release.

Seanook was built on the beach! It is tucked in next to a rocky point with the ocean as close as it can get. Originally serving as an annex to the East Boothbay General Store, it was used by the owner to store boats underneath and to sell gas, food, and supplies to local lobstermen. This rare, grandfathered proximity to the water is what makes Seanook so special, as federal guidelines require a deep setback for new structures.

Upstairs you will enjoy the large deck running on two sides of the house. There are decks on every level, including a deck off the basement, very close to high tide. The picnic table and gas grill are there.

For your comfort at Seanook, there are 3 bedrooms, a chair and a half hide-a-bed, 2 bathrooms, and a laundry room, as well as a full list of amenities which you can see further down this page.

Paradise Cottage has a deck, which wraps around two sides of the building, can be accessed from every room, and leads you right into the garden. A pleasant, eating area on the porch end facing the bay includes a gas barbecue, and a maple tree that grows through a hole in the floor and shades the table and six chairs. This part of the deck is a private outside retreat with a calming view of the water.

Inside are a great room, a dining area, and a small but functional kitchen, two nice sized bedrooms and two bathrooms, washer and dryer and all the amenities of home (see below.)

For a multiple month stay the pet deposit is $600 with $100 possibly refundable.
