The Cottage

Suite Thyme Cottage, our lovely Maine vacation home, includes 210 feet of private bold ocean frontage and is located in New Harbor, one of Maine’s most picturesque fishing villages and desirable vacation spots. It is off the beaten path on a private road of exclusive homes and affords spectacular views of islands, lighthouses, birds of all kinds, and lobstermen hauling their catch just yards from your private deck. This Maine vacation home is comfortably and lovingly furnished, and impeccably maintained. The Area

Hike the rocks from a private access path and walk to the village, shops, galleries, and a working harbor. Enjoy harborside dining, a lovely sandy beach, Pemaquid Lighthouse, historic sites, Monhegan Island ferry, and sightseeing boats nearby. New Harbor is an artist’s and photographer’s Paradise! July and August are high season, but don’t overlook the serene beauty of spring and fall when attractions are open, the crowds are thinner, and the scenery is fabulous.

House Rules and Rental Rates

House Rules:

Maximum occupancy: 3
No Pets
No smokers
Check in 4:00 PM
Check out 9:00 AM
Minimum age of primary renter: 25
Parties/Events not allowed
Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to in the Lease.
Please refer to the Rental Rules with the Lease.

2026 Prices
May 9 to June 20: $2145/wk.
June 21 to Sept. 12: $2500/wk.
Sept. 12 to Oct.24: $2145/wk.
Repeat guests receive discount of $100/wk.

Fifty percent deposit due when reservation made

Maine lodging tax 9%
Refundable damage deposit $400
Administrative fee 5%

Second payment (non-refundable) due 30 days before arrival date including the remaining 50% balance of rent, 9% Maine tax, 5% administrative fee and 1/2 $400 damage deposit.

Cancellation Policy
100% refund minus administrative fee 60 days before arrival;
50% refund minus administrative fee 30-60 days before arrival;
no refunds within 30 days.

Travelers’ Insurance is recommended.
