Enjoy the sounds of loon calls from the tranquility of our comfortable Getaway Cabin just off the shores of Lake Cochnewogon, 15 miles between Lewiston and the capital city of Augusta. Relax with a book in the hammock on the deck overlooking the lake through private wooded surroundings. This is the ideal place to spend quality time recharging from the rat race of city living. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy if you should decide to venture out: live theater in the quaint town of Monmouth, antiquing in the many area shops, day trips to the coast, the L.L. Bean Outlet (a short 35 minute drive), and interesting museums are a few of the cultural highlights. Portland area attractions are only 50 miles away. There are endless trails for biking and wandering, plus golfing, canoeing and bassfishing. And you can swim in the refreshingly clean lake waters.

Rates:

10% discount for full week stay.

Late April up till Memorial weekend, $110 per night. Full weeks 10% off. 

Memorial Weekend, Friday through Monday, $159 per night, discount for 4th night (-$40)

End of May and first half of June,  $125 per night. Full weeks 10% off. 

Second half of June, $159 per night. Full weeks 10% off. 

July through last full week of August, $189 per night. Full weeks 10% off. 

Last partial week of August through September, $159 per night except holidays. Full weeks 10% off. 

Labor Day Weekend, Friday through Monday, $169 per night, discount for 4th night (-$40)

October, $110 per week night, $139 per weekend night, except for holidays.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day Weekend, Fri. Through Mon, $169 per night, discount for 4th night (-$40)

Add 9% sales and lodging tax

We generally take reservations for 4 night stays. Shorter stays are sometimes available. Please ask.

$50 changeover fee for stays of less than 4 nights.
