Foster Pond Camp, in Bridgton

Foster Pond is located in South Bridgton, which is close to the more touristy towns of Bridgton and Naples, but is more peaceful and private. The mostly undeveloped shoreline offers a lovely retreat for canoers and kayakers. It is one of the best smallmouth bass lakes in the Bridgton area.

The hiking trails of Holt Pond Preserve and Bald Pate Mountain Preserve are only a short distance from Foster Pond.

The town of Naples, 5 miles away, is best known for its Causeway, featuring restaurants, live music, shops, and marina, as well as the Songo River Queen paddle boat, offering cruises on Long Lake. Ten miles down Route 302 from the Naples Causeway lies the town of Bridgton and its historic downtown village. Here one can find shops, restaurants, and the Magic Lantern movie theater.

The camp is newly renovated, with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a washer/dryer, and cable/WiFi and a four person hot tub. 

The camp, at the end of a private wooded road, shared with one other camp, is 150 feet from Foster Pond. The beach area is shared with the other camp on the road and is occasionally visited by the friendly neighbors. Two kayaks, a canoe and pedal boat are available for you to navigate the 140 acre pond. The sandy beach and floating dock offer swimming and water activities for all. Enjoy sitting by the outdoor campfire at night and listening to the loons.

Two bedrooms have double beds; the other bedroom has two twin beds. The kitchen is efficient and well-equipped. There is a dining area, full bathroom with tub and shower., a living room area with sofas, a recliner and wall-mounted cable TV and high speed internet service. There is a laundry area with washer & dryer and a view of the pond!
